More quality basically ! They have better pigment (the colour) and are long lasting. I personally think cheap make up is better .Chanel and dior are both famous for expensive designer clothes,and perfume , so they cant just bring out cheap make up ? Its all about the money , people think just because there from a well known brand like chanel they think it will be better! They do have a bit more quality but you cant go wrong with a elf £1 eyeshadow when chanel is £20 and a bit more quality. Of course its going to be more quality because its expensive but i would rather buy 20 eyeshadows from elf personally !

NYC JUST DO NOT EVEN GO THEIR THAT IS THE WORST MAKE UP LINE FOR DRUG STORES ITS LIKE 3 YEAR OLD CHEAP CRAP IT NEVER WORKS DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ELF IS WAY BETTER AND YOUR SAVING MONEY BECAUSE ELF STUDIO LINE IS ONLY 3$ ELF HAS CHANGED THEIR STUDIO LINE STUFF FOR DUPES FOR THE HIGH END BRAND STUFF SO ITS REALLY GOOD IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON THE HIGH END BRANDS THEN ELF THE STUDIO LINE HAS SOME DUPES.
