is it just me or do regular people who give make-up tutorials better than make-up artists?

this is stupid you don’t choose eyeshadow based on eye colour. My friend has blue eyes and wears every colour under the sun, her blue eyes are so pretty its great!!!

She is also wrong – you dont HAVE to use a different lid colour and highlight, sometimes you can choose a lid colour which also serves as a high light, a mid tone a wide crease and a dark colour for the outer v or to define the crease. Some professional.

This girl is really great, but the video itself is horrible overall. Expervillage, please just STOP MAKING VIDEOS. Total waste.

I didn’t find this “tutorial” (if you can even call it that) very helpful. It would have been nice if she actually went more into explaining how to apply and what kind of brushes to use. Especially for “beginners” like me, with eyeshadow…it can get tricky and this didn’t really offer alot of help.

Who edited this video? They never showed her applying the highlight color, if you look at the compact she has in her hand at 1:27 then at 1:30 they are different, they show the shadowing twice.

Us blue eyed people loo good with warm colors, like brown and gold. Or, if you wanna go bold: red, orange, yellow, etc.
