Question by Heather: What are some reasonably cheap but still good quality makeup brands other than e.l.f.?
I am young and trying to start a large and good quality makeup collection. The thing is that I only have a few dollars allowance a week and i get some money from family during holidays but that’t it. Thanks for your help.

NYX is a very good brand. It is sold at ULTA, and sometimes Target.

i wouldn’t buy too cheap make up.
and make up gets bad after a while anyways.
so it’s better you have just a few things but good quality than a bunch of cheap stuff, which goes bad after a while.
i would go for mid class make-up like l’oreal or maybelline. which is really good and not too expensive.

Look up drugstore brands that also produce makeup for more expensive lines. I think L’Oreal also makes Estee Lauder. Eyeshadow is the most important thing to invest good money in, as the pigments are much better. Try looking for one of those eyshadow palettes, from Sephora if you can. That way, you get a wide range of colors for less.
